Porsche CEO Wolfgang Porsche will divorce his 16-year-old partner, who is known to suffer from a dementia-like illness.

Sources close to the couple said Porsche, 79, is struggling living with his wife, 74, as her behavior has changed since the diagnosis.

Claudia, who has been suffering from the disease for two years, has four carers who look after her 24 hours a day.

She has reportedly been unable to move independently for months and her mental awareness has experienced a rapid decline.

Wolfgang and Claudia have been together since 2007 and got married in 2019. The fortune of the Porsche family is estimated at 20 billion euros.

Media in Germany are reporting that Wolfgang has become closer to his 25-year-old girlfriend, 59-year-old Princess Gabriela zu Leiningen, in recent months.

Gabriela – also known as Inaara Aga Khan – was born in April 1963 in Frankfurt am Main.

Like Porsche’s wife Claudia, she studied law in Munich and Cologne.

She married Prince Karl-Emich zu Leiningen in 1991, but the couple divorced in 1998.

Later that same year she married Swiss Karim Aga Khan IV, 86, the 49th Imam of the Nizari Ismailis, believed to be a direct descendant of the Prophet Mohammed.

The couple divorced in 2014.

Since 1999, Gabriela has been involved in a number of development projects in the third world, promoting self-reliance and offering help in the event of natural disasters.

She has been actively involved in the fight against AIDS since 2004 and supports the German AIDS Foundation.
