Rapper Post Malone performs at Rock in Rio 2022
Post Malone is back in the hospital a week after falling on stage during a concert in the US. On September 24, the rapper — one of the last Rock in Rio attractions — scared fans in St. Louis after falling into a hole reserved for one of his guitars. The artist fell to the ground, writhing in pain. Removed from the stage by paramedics, he was out for 15 minutes and then returned to sing.
Seven days after the incident, the 27yearold singer returned and felt what he described as “stabbing” pain. He had to be hospitalized again this weekend. And another show was canceled in the US. “On tour I usually wake up around 4pm and today I woke up to a popping noise on the right side of my body. Last night I felt so good… But today I felt so different,” Post Malone shared via the statement.
Post Malone made a few more diehard fans when he fell through a hole in the stage and broke 3 ribs. Fans said he came back on stage after 10 minutes and said he was sorry and hurt so much he cried, then someone gave him a beer and he finished the concert. #PostMalone

“I find it really difficult to breathe and feel a slight pain when I breathe or move. We’re in the hospital right now but with this pain I can’t do the show tonight,” the rapper explained in a message to fans.
Taking to social media, Post regretted what had happened, apologized to fans and assured the concert tickets would be postponed. “I’m sorry again. I feel really bad but I promise I’ll make it up to you,” he wrote on Twitter.
The rapper is scheduled to perform in Cleveland, USA on September 27th. Part of the US tour runs until midNovember. In January, the artist was scheduled to travel abroad to play shows in New Zealand and Australia. However, the agenda is subject to change.
