The second DR lineup of the current season of “Power couple Brazil‘ featured several moments that caught the public’s attention, such as Nahim’s request that an LGBTQIA+ couple be a part of the next installments of the reality show on Record TV.
During his speech, the attendee even misunderstood the acronym, asked for a chance for a “gay couple” in the future, and even suggested his brother’s entry, who he thought would be married to a trans woman.
I would like to make a request to the management. Next year we will have a LGBTQIA+ LGBT couple. Anyway, maybe there is a gay couple here. I can even nominate my sisterinlaw, who is married to my brother… So it’s time to break that paradigm.”

At that moment, however, Matheus Sampaio recalled the fight he had with Nahim hours earlier, in which he was berated by his prison colleague with homophobic language: “When you called me a bichon, what was that?”.
However, Nahim ignored the question and gave up his vote for Baronesa and Rogério. Adriane Galisteu was initially speechless, never intervened or commented on the matter.

The fight between Nahim and Matheus Sampaio started amid an argument between their partners Andreia Andrade and Brenda Paixão, who exchanged various insults in the eye of the hurricane.
“Nahim, call the house voices,” Matheus provoked, “Coward. You’re a coward, boy,” Andreia Andrade replied. “Coward,” Nahim affirmed. “Call the House elections now, coward,” Sampaio explained.
“Clown,” fired the singer. “Let’s go to DR. Do you think I’m scared of you?” Brenda’s partner asked. Then Nahim fired off the homophobic lines:

Matheus Sampaio asked: “What am I?”. Nahim repeated, “Bichon*.” “That. Go to Dr. Call up the voices of the house,” Matheus called. “Coward of the Caral**,” the singer concluded.
