That was behind a $754.6 million top prize won by a player in Washington in February, which ranks as the sixth-largest prize of all time in the game.

Powerball tickets cost $2 per game and are sold in 45 states, Washington, DC, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The game says more than half of the proceeds from a ticket sale remain in the jurisdiction where the ticket was sold.
