$2 billion California Powerball winner Edwin Castro has bought a $4 million mansion in California after paying $25.5 million for a lavish estate in California earlier this month Hollywood Hills had lost.
The 30-year-old claimed the winning ticket last month and received a one-time lump sum payment of $997.6 million.
Castro quickly purchased the sprawling bachelor pad, which has been coined an “entertainer’s dream” as it includes a game room, wine cellar, movie theater, bar and luxurious gym.
The California native recently added to his real estate portfolio again, buying a $4 million mansion in his hometown of Altadena — not far from the gas station where he bought his winning Powerball payday.
Its new Japanese-inspired pad is shielded from public view by olive trees and offers stunning, unobstructed views of the San Gabriel Mountains, reports Dirt.com.
The outlet describes the five-bedroom, four-bathroom home, built in 1953, as modern with a Japanese influence. It features high ceilings, crisp white walls, and minimalist light fixtures perfect for displaying an art collection.
Castro has bought two California mansions since winning the Powerball.
The residence’s living room features a fireplace, while the eat-in kitchen is equipped with Thermador appliances. The entire property offers stunning views of the garden and mountains.
Two of the five bedrooms have been reconfigured to function as an art studio and soundproof cinema.
Outside the U-shaped house is a pond, patio and saltwater pool. The property has off-street parking for more than a dozen vehicles in a detached two-car garage and separate covered carport.

The first home Castro bought after his big win has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and two powder rooms. The 13,500 square feet of living space offers panoramic views from Downtown LA to Century City.
The space also includes a gym, cold plunge pool, wind room, cinema and sauna.

Exterior features include an infinity pool, spa, two fire pits, and built-in BBQ area.
Castro reported to a gas station in Altadena more than three months after purchasing the winning ticket, and his win was announced by California Lottery officials on February 14.
