She added: “While she is looking forward to getting in shape post-pregnancy, her words should not be taken to mean that she is currently experiencing any issues with her body.
She wrote: “I was asked on IG this morning if I was looking forward to getting back in shape after pregnancy. I almost skipped the question so I didn’t have to answer it and no doubt my answer was misconstrued and misjudged.
“Because the answer is yes. I’m really looking forward to rehabilitating my body after giving birth; my core, my pelvic floor, my glutes, everything that had to shift, give way, and change for my little potato needs to be rehabilitated and nursed back to health. I look forward to PATIENTLY watching my body change again.

‘Why? If your physique goal is to stay the same, get healthier, get fitter, get stronger or grow and develop a physique, why is one more valid than the other?
“Are you changing your hairdo? Wear make up? Buying a new dress before going on vacation? Trying out a new nail polish? tint eyelashes? All of these measures are likely to help you FEEL better about yourself, and they are all accepted by women. Why is a body not a goal?
“Try not to project your own experiences onto others, not everyone has the same ‘why’.
“I’ve also had this photo in my camera roll since early June and I love it. But I was too scared to post it in case people think it’s overconfident or make me look pretty or ugly.
“Weird, isn’t it? Fear of sharing a positive relationship with your body is compared to today’s love and acceptance or future developmental goals on both sides, because so many will project their negative opinions onto it.
“So fuck it, celebrate your body even if it’s not trending right now.
“After all, self-love should be an option for EVERYONE ❤️.”
