Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian would like to spend as much time as possible with her husband Travis Barker as they prepare to welcome their first child together.
“Kourtney would love to be on the road all the time while Travis is on tour, but being a month pregnant it just isn’t realistic,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “So when he’s gone and they can’t be together, they text and FaceTime all the time.”
The insider also notes that Barker, 47, “constantly” calls Kardashian, 44, while he’s out with his band Blink-182 and that she can’t make it to a show. He is expected to be touring the world, intermittently, for most of next year.
“He comes home whenever he has a break and she still plans on attending some of her shows when she can. But Kourtney does make sure to take really good care of herself, so she’s playing it safe,” the source says. “And while he’s not always by her side, she has a lot of support from her family, especially her children. They all surrounded her day and night asking for everything she needs. It’s a very special time in the lives of Kourtney and Travis and they couldn’t be more excited.”

Earlier this month, the Kardashians star surprised fans at one of his concerts by holding up a sign that read, “Travis, I’m pregnant.” The couple, who married in 2022, announced on Saturday June 24 that they were expecting a baby boy.
While the two are expecting their first child together, they are both proud parents to children from previous relationships. Kardashian has three children: Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8, with ex Scott Disick. For his part, Barker is a father to 19-year-old son Landon and 17-year-old daughter Alabama, whom he shares with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. He is also parents to 24-year-old Atiana, Moakler’s daughter from a previous relationship. Sources told us earlier this month that Kardashian and Barker’s exes are delighted with the couple and sent them congratulations.

“Shanna is really excited for Travis and Kourtney,” a source told us. “And she knows they will be great parents to their child.”
Meanwhile, 40-year-old Disick also has good feelings for his former partner. “Scott knows Kourtney has wanted this for a long time, and as bittersweet as it was, he reached out to congratulate her and Travis,” another source told Us exclusively. “Scott has come a long way since he was when Kourtney and Travis first started dating. Most people know that it was difficult for him to accept the realization and that it took him quite a while to get there.”
Before announcing they were pregnant, Kardashian had been open about her desire to have a child with Barker. The reality star previously underwent artificial insemination before the couple even walked the aisle in Italy, but eventually stopped.
“I got to a point where I just felt like the timing was everything for me and Travis. I really have a feeling it’s going to happen if it’s meant to be,” she explained on an October 2022 episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, noting that she “felt pushed into” having artificial insemination to try. “[We have] Prayers and hope that God will bless us with the baby.”
