Milton Nascimento announced this Wednesday, 1, that his nephew has died. The announcement was made on the singer’s social networks.

The child’s name was Daniel, but the musician did not provide any further information about the cause of death or the age of his nephew. In the headline of the publication he wrote:
“It is with great sadness that I say goodbye to my beloved nephew Daniel today. An early farewell that will leave a big void in all of us. All my love goes to my beloved sister Jaceline, Gilberto and Júlia,” he lamented.
In the comments, several friends left messages for the singer. “My sincere condolences,” wrote Astrid Fontenelle. “I’m sorry,” said actress Virginia Cavendish.
