After undergoing surgery to remove the ileostomy bag, Preta Gil showed that her recovery is well underway by sharing some of her postoperative physical therapy this Friday (1st). The singer underwent surgery this Thursday and is no longer in the intensive care unit. Photo gallery

“Today we have already started postoperative physiotherapy,” wrote Preta in her Instagram Stories. In the video, the singer appears in hospital clothes, a bathrobe and compression stockings as she lifts her arms in a light exercise in the room at the SírioLibanês Hospital in São Paulo, where she is hospitalized.
Ileostomy reversal surgery
Preta Gil underwent surgery this Thursday to remove the ileostomy bag. On this occasion, the singer’s team reassured fans and spoke about the artist’s health in a post on Instagram Stories.
“To everyone who loves Preta: the operation to reconstruct the intestinal tract and reverse the ileostomy was very successful. Preta is doing well and recovering in the intensive care unit. She should go to the semiintensive care unit soon. Thank you for your love, prayers and usual concern. She herself comes here to talk to you.
Colon cancer
Preta Gil was diagnosed with colon cancer in January this year after being admitted to hospital with abdominal pain. “Thank God I received a final diagnosis today. I have adenocarcinoma in the last part of the intestine,” she said at the time.
