Preta Gil was discharged from Sírio Libanês Hospital in São Paulo on September 10th. The artist underwent surgery to remove a tumor in her rectum and was hospitalized for 28 days.

What happened:
Preta was diagnosed with colon cancer earlier this year. Chemotherapy was the first phase of treatment.
