Anyone who watched SmackDown LowDown this week may have noticed that Pretty Deadly’s Elton Prince is wearing a sling, as seen in the video WWE posted to his YouTube channel:
As it turns out, he wasn’t just selling the injury from his match against the Brawling Brutes at Friday Night SmackDown in Raleigh, North Carolina this week. According to PW Insider, Prince suffered a shoulder injury.
Such an injury can take as little as two weeks to heal, and even a few months.
For his part, Ridge Holland took to Twitter to defend himself against anyone accusing him of causing the injury:
The timing is terrible considering the tag team is featured on SmackDown quite a bit each week. It’s clear that those in power hold the duo in high esteem.
It’s possible they’ll still be used on TV while Prince recovers, but either way it’s a tough break. We hope he recovers sooner rather than later.
