Who are the supposed headliners?
Madonna, Dua Lipa and Coldplay are reportedly the first headliners expected to take the stage next year, The Mail on Sunday has exclusively revealed.
After months of discussions, the three legendary singers are reportedly set to perform on the Pyramid Stage, but the official line-up has not yet been announced.
A festival insider said: “It’s the dream line-up, a brilliant mix of different music and different atmospheres. “Then of course there’s Madonna on the final night, who will be epic.”
When she takes the stage in 2024, it will be the first time Madonna, 65, has performed at the festival, which is being held at Worthy Farm in Somerset. When Dua, 28, performs, it will be her first headlining gig.

Coldplay
Coldplay is said to be in the running for the headlines on Saturday.
Coldplay have headlined four times – in 2002, 2005, 2011 and 2016.
Glastonbury bosses have been accused of choosing too many male artists to headline. Last year the line-up was all-male, with Arctic Monkeys, Guns N’ Roses and Sir Elton John taking the top spots.

Madonna
According to the Mail On Sunday, Madonna is said to be in the running to close the musical extravaganza on its final night.
Last month, organizer Emily Eavis, daughter of Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis, announced that the team of a major US star, believed to be Madonna, had contacted her and told her she was free.
She said: “2024 is still a bit up in the air and I thought it was taking shape, then I just got a call last week and that’s what happens when you wait a little longer because often we’re fully booked from July .
“This year we’re waiting a little longer and last week I got a call from a really big American artist telling me this person is going to be there next year and I said, ‘Oh my God, this is incredible.’ Thank God we held the place.’

Dua Lipa
British singing sensation Dua is said to be under consideration for Friday’s top act, but the official line-up has not yet been announced.
Earlier this year, Dua found herself embroiled in controversy after failing to accompany Sir Elton John for their duet Cold Heart on the Glastonbury stage.
Fans claimed there must have been an argument between the two, although Dua insisted she was only working in New York.
On the lack of female headliners, Emily previously said: “I’ve always been very vocal about gender segregation.” [on festival line-ups] And I think our problem was actually that I was so open about the fact that a year without a wife made people – or some – a little angry.
“And we had a woman – she retired and we replaced her with Guns N’ Roses.” But everyone knows it’s at the top of my list.
“It’s difficult with female artists because there aren’t enough headliners. But we also create them. We bring the bands and artists to smaller stages and constantly get them through. And who knows? Next year we might get two. And with certainty I can say that the legend is female.’
