“Love is sharing the password.” That was Netflix’s take on it in 2017. The same Netflix that is now charging anyone who wants to share their account on the platform. Whoever remembered the company’s positioning was Prime Video’s UK unit, which shared the publication on Twitter.

In the comments, netizens assume that this is an indication that Prime Video will not adopt this option. The company profile was quick to reply, “Laugh and tweet and hope we don’t do the same.”
The company had already announced in April that it would be expanding its use to other countries because it was satisfied with the results of the tests. There was still no information on the arrival of the novelty in Brazil, but it was published on Tuesday (23): each additional point outside the subscriber’s residence costs R$ 12.90.
