The Conservative Party of Canada attacked Justin Trudeau and his government in an ad released Sunday, TVA Nouvelles first learned.

In the 30-second video, the political party claims that “JustinFlation is costing everyone dearly.”
The ad claims that the Trudeau government’s deficits are driving up interest rates and claims that this situation is causing families to be unable to afford their mortgages.
“Young people say they can never save for a down payment and their rent keeps rising,” the video also states.

The Conservatives even claim that because of the situation created by the Liberal government, many seniors are having to choose between paying rent or eating.
“Who will pay for Trudeau’s inflation? And yes, all of us. Trudeau: He’s not worth the price,” can be heard and read at the very end of the commercial.
