Prince Andrew of the United Kingdom is one of the people linked to Jeffrey Epstein, an American billionaire who ran a sex trafficking scheme. The information was made public this Wednesday (3) after the United States Court published a series of documents relating to the criminal's case.

Epstein socialized with Wall Street titans, royalty and celebrities before pleading guilty in 2008 to soliciting a minor for prostitution. He committed suicide in 2019 at age 66 while in prison awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.

Dozens of women have accused Epstein of forcing them to provide sexual services to him and his guests on his private island in the Caribbean and at his homes in New York, Florida and New Mexico.

The names of more than 150 people named in a lawsuit filed by Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein's most prominent accusers, were kept secret for years until a federal judge ruled last month that there was no legal justification for keeping them confidential.

In her testimony, Giuffre said she had sex with several prominent political and financial leaders, including George Mitchell, a former U.S. senator, and Bill Richardson, a former governor of the state of New Mexico.

A victim said Britain's Prince Andrew placed his hand on her breast at Epstein's Manhattan home in 2001, court documents unsealed Wednesday show. The incident was previously reported by the brother of King Charles III. reported and denied.

The incident, previously reported and denied by Andrew, was among details revealed in a series of previously redacted documents.

Andrew lost most of his royal titles due to his association with Epstein. He settled a civil lawsuit with Giuffre last year for an undisclosed sum and denied any wrongdoing.

The revealed documents are part of a longrunning defamation lawsuit Giuffre filed against Ghislaine Maxwell, 62, Epstein's exgirlfriend.

Maxwell, daughter of British media mogul Robert Maxwell, is serving a 20year prison sentence for recruiting underage girls for Epstein. She is appealing her conviction.

U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska ruled last month that there was no legal justification for continuing to withhold most of the names in Giuffre's lawsuit.

She decided that some names would remain confidential, including those of people who were minors when Epstein abused them.
