Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were taken to the Invictus Games.
The pair were squeezed into mini children’s cars, each accompanied by a young driver for the ‘race’ which ended with the king throwing his arms up in victory.
They attended the first medal event of the fifth Invictus Games, the Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge, in the Netherlands on Saturday.
Prince Harry got into the action in the challenge, designed to test precision, skill and teamwork.
He got into a Land Rover and helped the driver negotiate a difficult hilly landscape. Markle was nearby, cheering on her husband.
The Duke of Sussex created the Invictus Games in 2014 after competing in the Warrior Games, a competition for wounded military personnel in the United States.

The games were supposed to have taken place in 2020 but were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The couple had arrived the day before to open the games that Prince Harry had created. Markle will stay with Harry for the first few days of the tournament, which ends April 22, before flying back to California.

Before flying to the Netherlands, the couple landed in the UK to visit his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and father, Prince Charles, at Windsor Castle.
“We can confirm that they visited the Duke’s grandmother, as we previously said he had hoped,” their rep said. “They stopped in the UK on their way to The Hague to take part in the Invictus Games.”
It was their first time together in the UK since they said goodbye to their royal family jobs in 2020. Their children Archie (2) and Lilibet (10 months) stayed at home in California.
