The Duke of Sussex has “shot the monarchy in the heart” with the latest revelations in interviews with ITV’s Tom Bradby and CBS’ Anderson Cooper.
In scathing criticism of his family, Harry branded his stepmother Camilla “the bad guy” and “dangerous” and ignored pleas from King Charles not to attack his wife.
Spanish news outlet ABC condemned the comments, saying today: “Prince Harry shoots you in the heart of the British royal family.”

They added that the media blitz of the “headstrong son” with his “explosive” remarks is causing a “nightmare” for the new monarchy.
The Süddeutsche Zeitung, one of the largest daily newspapers in Germany, headlined today: “Declaration of war on the royal family”.
The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung said today: “It’s good that the Queen no longer has to experience this.”
The scathing review said Harry had “ruined the family life of the royals,” adding: “The prince and his wife present themselves as well-meaning do-gooders who have been accused of being eaten by the tabloid Windsors.
“However, they themselves show no respect for the life, dignity or privacy of others.”
Spanish outlet El Pais said last night: “Harry has decided to present himself to the world as a man who, thanks to years of therapy, has found peace with himself and happiness with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children Archie. three years old and Lilibet one and a half years old.
“At no point does it occur to him that he is broadcasting the intimacies of close relatives or directly attacking them or the monarchical institution.”
The Duke of Sussex has “shot the monarchy in the heart” with the latest revelations in interviews with ITV’s Tom Bradby and CBS’ Anderson Cooper.
Prince Harry’s much-anticipated memoir, Spare, goes on sale worldwide tomorrow and promises scandalous revelations about his own life and that of his family.
French publication Le Figaro branded the king “Dirty Harry, dirtier than ever” amid a string of interviews, Netflix shows and lucrative book deals while he continues to sell his story and tell his “truth”.
On a night of televised drama on both sides of the Atlantic:
In his interview with Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes yesterday, Harry said of Camilla: “She was the villain, she was a third person in the marriage, she had to rehabilitate her image.
“It made her dangerous because of the connections she made within the British press. And there was an open willingness on both sides to share information, and with a family built on hierarchies, and with her on her way to Queen Consort, people or corpses would be left in the streets because of it.
The Duke claimed Camilla has “made connections” with the press in the UK to try to “rehabilitate her image” and write “positive stories” about her
Prince Harry has targeted his father’s wife Camilla in a new TV interview to promote his explosive memoir Spare with CBS’ 60 Minutes in the US
But hours earlier, in an interview that viewers said contained several contradictions, he told ITV’s Tom Bradby that he was not “scathing” towards Camilla in his book. Among Harry’s contradictions was that he dismissed previous allegations that the royal family was racist.
There was also disbelief when Harry told Mr Bradby that whatever he says to William going forward will remain “private,” despite using his memoir, TV interviews, a Netflix documentary and an Oprah special to get the beans spilling over what his family said to him and Meghan behind closed doors. He also said he has no desire to hurt his family.
Mr Bradby was visibly stunned – like millions of viewers – by his screeching about-face from earlier incendiary claims that an unnamed senior royal had raised concerns about his son Archie’s skin colour.
Addressing the 2021 Oprah interview with Meghan, the broadcaster said: “You have accused members of your family of racism.”
But Harry snapped back, “No, I didn’t. That’s what the British press said.
The CBS interview came hours after an extended meeting with ITV in the UK, in which he told his friend Mr Bradby that his family was “complimentary” in the “pain and suffering” inflicted on his wife Meghan, and she was with them ‘Abusers’ compared’.
He suggested they helped “damage” his and Meghan’s reputations, forced them to move to California and “showed no willingness to reconcile.”
Harry also said there were a lot of stereotypes about Meghan after she was introduced to the royal family because she was an “American actress, divorced, multiracial”. But in a contradictory interview, he later insisted the royal family was not racist – despite the claim being the focus of the Sussexes’ Oprah interview in 2021.
The Duke said the comments about his son Archie’s skin color were “unconscious bias”. Mr Bradby seemed surprised by the answer – while experts said Harry clearly didn’t understand the term he was now using.

Harry’s new book is out tomorrow in the UK but was published earlier in Spain.
The Duke writes in his memoirs how he and William begged the king not to marry Camilla, and he told Anderson Cooper: “We didn’t think it was necessary. We thought it would do more harm than good.”
However, in his UK interview with ITV on Sunday night, the Duke denied that he spoke “scathingly” about the Queen Consort in his autobiography.
Presenter Tom Bradby said: “I just want to talk briefly about your stepmother and the press because you’re pretty consistently scathing and implying that you…”
Harry replies, ‘Devastating? … What, crushing?’
Mr Bradby replies: “Well, as you say, ‘Your interests have been sacrificed on your PR altar’, to quote, and you seem to be referring to that explicitly. Now your people might say, well, it’s not a crime to have lunch with journalists.
Harry: ‘Well I think it’s very clear in the book what happened.’
