Prince Harry attended a Los Angeles Football Club game against David Beckham’s Inter Miami on Sunday evening.

His wife, Meghan Markle, was on the attendance list but was not seen.

However, Harry was spotted laughing and joking with Will Ferrell at BMO Stadium in South Los Angeles.

Other famous faces at the game included Owen Wilson, Leonardo DiCaprio and Lebron James.

The 38-year-old appeared significantly more optimistic at the soccer game than he did at the Beyoncé concert he attended on Friday – where he was mocked online for looking downright bored.

Harry played football at school at Eton and wrote in his memoirs that he loved all sports.

“I have played every dry sport, but rugby has captured my heart,” he wrote – with “dry sport” at Eton meaning cricket, football, rugby or polo. Wet sports included rowing, sailing or swimming.

Harry said he found playing rugby therapeutic.

“Beautiful game and a good excuse to encounter very hard things,” he wrote.

“Rugby, let me let my anger out. “I just didn’t feel as much pain as other guys, which made me scary on the field.”

The game attracted a large crowd eager to witness Argentine superstar Lionel Messi’s debut in the city.

Messi signed with the Miami side in July and has helped the team climb up the table – to the delight of co-owner David Beckham.
