Prince Harry says royal family owes Meghan Markle an apology

<p>Getty</p><p>” data-src=”https://s.yimg.com/ny/api/res/1.2/pimYMnYk7Wsgeu0.Xd51qw–/YXBwaWQ9aGlnaGxhbmRlcjt3PTk2MDtoPTYzMQ–/https://media.zenfs.com/en/instyle_846/6c1fc07359e5e937500cc9410d8″cc9410d8″ /></p><p>Prince Harry believes Meghan Markle owes an apology from the royal family.</p><p>In a new interview with The Telegraph this week, Harry apparently shared a cautionary tale aimed at the monarchy. “You know what you did and I now know why you did it,” he said while speaking to the publication, adding, “And you got caught, so just come in.”</p><p>While he didn’t go into detail about what they are apologizing for, Harry previously claimed that the royals misrepresented his wife as “an American actress, divorced, [and] biracial” and “leaked” negative stories about her to the UK media. Harry added “if people had listened to him sooner” the rift between the Duchess of Sussex and the rest of the royal family wouldn’t have gotten so out of control.</p><p>“It was all so avoidable. But they just couldn’t help it,” he said.</p><p>:</p><p>“That’s when I started trying to explain to them how some of their choices and things they did — or didn’t do — would affect them. Bad,” he told the publication of his unsuccessful attempts to inform her of her behavior. “Especially around the world, especially in the Commonwealth, in relation to my now wife. And I couldn’t reach her. And it wasn’t one or two people I was trying to get through to. It was a mindset. It was a culture within a bubble within a bubble that was unbreakable while I was there.”</p><p>Elsewhere during the interview, Harry admitted that he felt a responsibility to getting the “truth” known about his memoir for the benefit of future royal generations. “I still feel responsible knowing that out of those three kids, at least one will end up like me, the surrogate.
