Prince Harry joined Stephen Colbert’s talk show on Tuesday to promote his autobiography, Spare. During the interview, the Duke of Sussex showed off the necklace that his brother William broke during an intense fight between the two. In an excerpt from the book published by The Guardian, the youngest reported that the disagreement came after the heir to the throne launched a series of criticisms of his wife Meghan Markle.
According to the publication, the discussion took place in 2019, when William called Meghan “difficult,” “rude,” and “abrasive.” The youngest son of King Charles III. has hit back, claiming his brother is a “parrot of press narrative” and that he is not rational. The two then started yelling at each other, leading to the redhead accusing William of acting like an heir and also declaring that he wasn’t content with being a “surrogate”.
After that, Harry would have gone into the kitchen for a glass of water, followed by his angry brother. “He spilled the water, gave me a different name and then attacked me. Everything went so fast. Very fast. He grabbed my collar, broke my collar and threw me to the ground. I ended up in the dog’s bowl, which broke under my back and the pieces cut me. I stood there stunned for a moment, then I got up and told him to go,” the youngest recalled.

On the talk show, host Stephen Colbert highlighted the fallout from the fight between the brothers after the excerpt from work was revealed and questioned Harry about the accessory William broke. The redhead said it was the necklace he was wearing and then explained its meaning. “[Ele] it is solid now and has the heartbeats of my children and my wife [Meghan Markle ] gave me,” he explained. The Duke is the father of Archie, aged 3, and Lilibet, aged 1 year and 7 months.

“It has a tiger eye in the middle,” Harry added. According to Meghan’s husband, a friend made the necklace for him in Botswana, Africa. In the conversation, the redhead also explained that the brothers hadn’t reached that point in the relationship. “It’s impossible to say where our relationships would be now, but there’s no way the distance between me and my brother would be the same,” he said.
