The Prince and Princess of Wales documented their three-day trip to the US on social media by sharing a collection of photos.
The pictures, titled “Thank you Boston,” showed Kate, 40, posing with a cute Labrador during her trip to Harvard University, as well as Prince William, also 40, meeting President Joe Biden.
The photos, posted to Instagram today, captured an intimate moment shared by the royal couple at the Earthshot awards ceremony. William can be seen with his hand on Kate’s back as they sit together and face away from the camera.
The heartfelt post, thanking Boston for its hospitality over the past week, coincided with the release of behind-the-scenes footage of the awards show, posted to the global challenge’s Instagram account.

They set out for the Earthshot Prize Awards – an event created by William in 2020 that annually celebrates people for their contributions to protecting the environment.
In one picture, Kate crouched next to an adorable black Lab in a tailored long sleeve Emilia Wickstead dress, which she paired with black pumps and gold hoop earrings embellished with Daniella Draper.
The original dress costs $1,201 but has no sleeves, so it seems the Princess of Wales had it altered. The mother-of-three also carried a mulberry blue leather handbag.
Kate was all smiles as she leaned in to the pup, who bowed his head and donned a red collar.

During the trip, Kate took time to make her own way to meet emotional well-wishers outside Harvard University on Friday.
Greeted by hundreds of enthusiastic well-wishers, the mother-of-three took the time to greet those who had been waiting in the cold to meet her, asking people their names before thanking them for their support.
In a clip of her tour posted to social media, Kate tells those waiting that she “appreciates everyone who comes to say hello… it means so much.”
Kate then comforts an emotional well-wisher, who says she’s studying British history, saying, “Don’t cry!” before telling her, “Everyone in Boston was so friendly”.
She moves on and thanks everyone for coming out to meet her.
