Priyanka Chopra recently revealed that she and husband Nick Jonas have matching tattoos.
Speaking to British Vogue, the 40-year-old actress – who shares a baby daughter with the Jonas Brothers star, 30, shared the sweet meaning behind her ink.
“I’ve got a check and a box behind my ears,” Priyanka began.
‘My husband has her on his arms because when he proposed to me he asked me if I would check all his boxes and would I check one more?’

Priyanka didn’t show off her hidden tattoos, but she did take a moment to gush about her “super thoughtful” husband.
“When he’s there, everything feels like everything is fine. He taught me to approach things from a much calmer place,” she told the outlet.
Priyanka and Nick began dating in May 2018 and married just two months later.
In January 2022, the age-gap couple welcomed their first child, daughter Malti Marie, via surrogate.
As exclusively reported at the time, the surrogate gave birth 12 weeks premature.
Born at just 27 weeks, baby Malti had to stay in the neonatal intensive care unit of a Southern California hospital for the first 100 days.

In the same interview with British Vogue, Priyanka addressed the criticism she and her husband have faced for choosing surrogacy.
“Just because I don’t want to make my medical history public doesn’t give you the right to make up the reasons,” said the mother-of-one.
The performer went on to reflect that she has been accused by some of “outsourcing” her pregnancy so she could focus on her career.
“I had medical complications so this was a necessary step and I’m so grateful to have been in a position to do this,” she explained.

“I’ve developed a hard skin when people talk about me,” she added. “But it’s so painful when they talk about my daughter. I say, “Keep her out of there.”
“Nick and I both stood there as they intubated her. I don’t know how they even found what they needed [in her tiny body] to intubate her.’
For the next three months, the new parents traveled daily to the neonatal intensive care unit to be with their daughter, a difficult chapter that happened to fall during the first Omicron wave in the US.
“We spent every single day with her on my chest, on my husband’s chest,” Priyanka recalled. “I didn’t know if she would make it or not.”

Malti has been home happily with Priyanka and Nick since last spring, the actress taking a year off to be with her little girl.
“It’s been 20 years of hustle and bustle and work at breakneck speed. I’ve always asked, ‘What’s next?’ […] “But now I feel like there’s a center, a sense of calm because every decision ultimately revolves around her,” the star said of her new approach to work and life.
As she had a “pretty wild journey” early in her life, Nick Kelly Clarkson said earlier this month that they were making Malti’s first birthday a special one.
They threw a celebration at their LA home over the weekend of Malti’s birthday on Jan. 15.

Most recently, the couple and their only child enjoyed a day at the beach.

“Sunday,” the Quantico star captioned the snap, which showed her precious tot in her arms as she rested her head on the jealous singer’s shoulder.
Both Nick, who wore a red baseball cap and black vest over a matching hoodie, and Priyanka smiled for the camera.
A second picture showed the former Miss World 2000 holding her child as they gazed out to sea.
For her fun outing, Chopra dressed her daughter in a yellow Dior jacket and white t-shirt.
Another snap showed the family of three just meters from the sea as a sailboat cruised across the water in the distance.
