Seventeen US lawmakers, including Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, were arrested and then released at a pro-abortion rally held in Washington near the US Capitol and Supreme Court. The demonstrators – the police explained on Twitter – did not clear the street after the three ritual warnings from the police and continued their traffic blockade. A total of 35 people were arrested, all of whom were later released and have to pay a fine.

Not a little outrage was caused by the tweet by Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert, who wished the arrested Democratic colleagues would end up in the same cell next to the Jan. 6, 2021 insurgents.
“I hope – he wrote – that the members of the squad will be housed in cells next to the prisoners of January 6”. The so-called squad would consist of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and Rashia Tlaib, i.e. six radical Democrats.
I hope that the squad members arrested today will be held in a cell next to the J6 inmates.

The reference to January 6 has caused dismay as Ocasio-Cortez last year recounted her nightmare of being raped and killed by insurgents who went after the young Democratic congressman after they marched into Congressional buildings. hidden in a room.
