Project viewers slam Carrie Bickmore’s Fluro House Party Dress and she “looks ridiculous” next to her professionally dressed colleagues
She is known for her impeccable sense of style and chic wardrobe in front of the camera.
But Carrie Bickmore’s colorful outfit on Wednesday’s episode of The Project had viewers scratching their heads.
The 41-year-old wore a one-shoulder dress with a neon swirl print, leading some fans to question whether her stylist was having the night off.

In contrast, Carrie’s co-hosts Waleed Aly, Rachel Corbett and Peter Helliar all wore professional black suits.
Twitter trolls said her dress looked like it belonged at a house party rather than a current affairs show, while others said she stuck out like a sore thumb next to her modestly dressed colleagues.
“Not sure who chose Carrie’s dress but it looks more like she’s going to a Fluro house party or something,” one viewer tweeted.

“Me too… unfortunately she looks ridiculous next to the professionally dressed team. Too bad because she used to wear nice suits and fancy dresses,” agreed another.

After the messy broadcast, she posted a compilation of her slip-ups on Instagram and apologized to viewers for their mistakes.
“I lost the plot on tonight’s show… and that’s just a small sample of the chaos… my fault [co-host] Kate Langbrook. I’m sorry everyone!’ She wrote.
Her first mistake came when she repeatedly skipped her words when trying to introduce Guardian Australia’s political reporter Amy Remeikis.

“She’s joining us now,” she stuttered. ‘Sorry, I’m really in trouble tonight!’
She later asked Remeikis, “Amy what do you think – do you think this has the ability to see some big heads roll – some big heads roll?”
After that slip, she buried her head in her hands in embarrassment.
