The Nation’s Attorney General, Franz Barbosa announced that they were all arrest and extradition warrants suspended those against the members of ELN peace negotiation delegation.
“I have formed resolution number 00666 of August 22, 2022, in which it is ordered suspend three months each and every arrest warrant issued or against which it is issued: Nicolás Rodríguez Bautista, Pablo Beltrán, Aurelio Carbonel, Gustavo Martínez, Silvana Guerrero, Alirio Sepúlveda, Isabel Torres, María Consuelo Tapias, Tomás García Laviana, Óscar Serrano and Vivian Henao, who have been recognized by the government as ELN negotiators”, announced the officer.

Likewise, The prosecutor ordered the transmission of this resolution to the authorities of judicial police, national and international authorities, including Interpol.
This measure was taken on behalf of President Gustavo Petro, to facilitate that resumption of peace talks with the leadership of this guerrilla, what’s in there right now Cuba.

“By decree I authorized reinstate the protocols, reintroduce negotiators, Allow them to reconnect with their organization, suspend arrest warrants against these negotiators, suspend extradition warrants against these negotiators to begin dialogue with the National Liberation Army,” the President of San Pablo, Bolívar announced.
