In a Facebook post, the singer-songwriter wrote on Tuesday evening after a difficult day for several other reasons: “Karl tells me that the chemotherapy is no longer working. He will start another treatment after the break. Misery…”
We know Karl Tremblay, 46, has prostate cancer and has been undergoing treatment every three weeks since last summer, which has also required adjustments to the Cowboys Fringants tour schedule. Her friends Les Trois Accords replaced her at three festivals in the summer of 2022.
For her part, Marie-Annick Lépine continues her solo tour with songs from her album Entre Beaurivage et L’Ange-Gardien. She will perform this Wednesday at the Maison des Arts Desjardins in Drummondville, then at the Center des Arts Juliette-Lassonde in Saint-Hyacinthe (March 2nd) and at the Pavillon L’Entrepôt in the Lachine district (March 11th). and at the Maison de la culture Claude-Léveillée in Villeray (March 15).
