Puerto Rican singer Kendo Kaponi’s son dies in Florida traffic accident

KISSIMMEE, Fla.- Cheniel Capone Rivera Torres, son of Puerto Rican singer Kendo Kaponi, died in one over the weekend Car accident.

The crash occurred around 5:40 a.m. Sunday in the historic district of Kissimmee, about 20 miles south of Orlando, Florida.

The young man was driving his car when it crashed into a building between Neptune Road and Broadway, authorities said. It was the only vehicle involved in the accident.

The area was closed for nearly three hours while the investigation took place.

The community has turned to social networks to express their condolences to Kendo Kaponi, a recognized name in the urban music industry. In addition to his own productions He has collaborated with Don Omar, Daddy Yankee, Arcángel, Baby Rasta and Cosculluela, among others.
