Excellent debut on Canale 5 of Viola come il mare, a light drama directed by Francesco Vicario, co-produced by Rti and Lux Vide, made by Lux Vide and based on the novel Do you know summer? by Simona Tanzini, by Sellerio Editore. The new series, which has been broadcast on Mediaset’s flagship since last Friday, was the evening’s leader with 3,403,000 viewers (20.4%). The story of Viola and Francesco, played by the former Sicilian Miss Italy (from Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto) Francesca Chillemi and Can Yaman – catalyzed in particular, underlines a note from Canale 5 – in addition to social media also the younger audience, where at the 25- to 34-year-olds, it recorded an average share of 28.3%. The series was filmed in Palermo.
