Video of students at a boys’ college at Complutense University in Madrid shouting at Putas Ninfmanas in a women’s hostel has sparked a political uproar. Spanish Prime Minister: We reject these male-dominated behaviors

Needless to say, the video sparked a wave of outrage across the country. Prime Minister Pedro Snchez himself spoke on the subject: I appeal to all parties and the media to provide a unified, broad and common response to reject these inexplicable, unjustifiable sexist behaviors, he said. We cannot tolerate this hateful behavior that attacks women. It is particularly painful to see that the protagonists are young, he added on Twitter. Opposition leader Alberto Feijoo repeated what happened illegally. The university residence apologized, pronounced its conviction and explained in a press release that the house rules provide for exmatriculation in serious cases like this one. The student who initiated the verbal attack was expelled from the school. There is no news from the others. Most importantly, multiple outlets are pointing out that a very similar video was posted on Tik Tok last year without anyone – within the college – raising an eyebrow at the time. A video from a few years ago also circulated on Twitter, showing re-enrolled students at Elas Ahuja College performing the Hitler salute with their right arm raised and shouting Sieg Heil.
