Vladimir Putin launched an attack on Ternopil in Ukraine just before the city’s most famous resident, Tvorchi, performed at the Eurovision Song Contest.
Warehouses were hit by Russian rocket attacks and two people were injured, confirmed Ternopil Oblast governor Volodymyr Trush.
It is reported that the warehouses hit and set on fire belonged to commercial enterprises and a religious organization.
Ten minutes before his Liverpool Arena performance, Tvorchi posted on Instagram citing reports of an attack on Ternopil in western Ukraine.
During her participation in the competition, Tvorchi were also seen holding up a sign with her hometown’s name on it.

After performing “Heart of Steel” – a song about troops fighting Russian forces at Azovstal Plant in Mariupol – Tvorchi wrote again: “Ternopil is the name of our hometown which was bombed by Russia when we were at Eurovision -Stage sang.” about our hearts of steel, our indomitability and our will.
