The President of Russia Wladimir PutinShe would have had an extramarital relationship with the former gymnast Alina Kabaeva and would sire their two children, the Swiss newspaper TagesAnzeiger announced this weekend.
According to the publication, in 2015, Kabaeva gave birth to the first child of the secret relationship. The child was born in an upscale maternity hospital in Lugano, Switzerland. The delivery of the second child, born in 2019, took place in Moscow.
The birth of the babies was accompanied by a SwissRussian gynecologist who has been a friend of Putin since he was a boy. A source who worked with the birth explained that Alina traveled to Switzerland to avoid media attention. “I had to keep everything discreet,” he said. “The relationship [entre Alina e Putin] existed. Both of their children are Putin’s.”

The international press even reported the birth of the exgymnast’s son, but Russia denied any connection with the country’s president, calling the story a “hoax”.
Like Putin and allies of the Russian president, Alina Kabaeva was the target of sanctions imposed after Russia invaded Ukrainian territory.
