Putin’s participation can only become clear at the last minute. On the 14th and 15th of November, the heads of the main industrial and emerging countries, as well as the EU, will meet on the Indonesian island of Bali.
Ukraine demanded that Russia be expelled from the G-20 group and uninvited from the summit because of the war. Indonesian President Joko Widodo has tried in Moscow and Kyiv to bridge the gap between the two warring parties. He also invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, although Ukraine is not a member of the G-20. However, his participation has not yet been confirmed.
