At the turn of the year, Russia hit Kiev with unprecedented missile attacks. Hypersonic weapons are also used. What does the Kremlin want with this?

Vladimir Putin is expanding his terror with rockets against Ukraine, especially against Kiev and the second unoccupied metropolis of Kharkiv.

There were repeated attacks on the capital. That's why they hardly appear in the world news anymore. But New Year's Eve attacks go beyond all previous dimensions. Ukrainians recorded more than 160 attacks on Friday alone. There were hundreds of injuries and dozens of deaths. They “shot at us with almost everything they had”, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy complained at the time. On Tuesday, Russia once again offered a huge arsenal of weapons.
