Topics covered:
1) What now for the Vikings after losing quarterback Kirk Cousins this year?
2) What is it like navigating the win-now component or thinking about the future as current GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah?
3) Should the Vikings go with rookie Jaren Hall or trade for an outsider? The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday at 3 p.m
Note: Backup quarterback Nick Mullens (back) cannot be released from injured reserve until the game against New Orleans on November 12th.
With the score at 4-4 and a three-game winning streak, Adofo-Mensah still has a lot to think about the next day.
Diamond was in the Vikings’ front office in both 1976 and 1987 when the starting QB was sidelined due to injury. Both teams then made it into the playoffs.
Diamond worked for the Vikings from 1976 to 1998 before moving on to become president of the Tennessee Titans.
