According to the information received, the criminals would have succeeded in their smoking blow, penetrating the roof of the building on Louis-XIV Boulevard.

They may have managed to slip in through an opening.

Secret

The SPVQ confirmed the crime committed during the night without giving any further details about the circumstances. Employees alerted authorities upon entering the work.

“We observed the burglary,” said spokeswoman Marie-Pier Rivard.

Patrol cars were spotted at the scene and a security perimeter was set up for a few hours.

Trading was closed for the day. The store is expected to reopen on Friday morning.

The amount of missing merchandise would be very large, enough to prevent the store from opening its doors.

The thieves even emptied the premises completely. However, this detail has yet to be confirmed.

Registration

No suspects have been arrested, but the building is equipped with surveillance cameras. Despite the legal sale of cannabis, the illegal market has not disappeared in Quebec.

“The branch is closed indefinitely. Customers wishing to shop at a branch can contact the branch at 16 Quai Saint-André in Quebec,” said Fabrice Giguère, Communications Advisor at SQDC.

Canada Post or 90 minute delivery services are always available.
