It wasn’t Bono and his band, but the festival-goers who packed the Saint-Patrick Pub on Monday lunchtime were able to sing a U2 hit thanks to lovable country singer Tenille Townes.

As it began to rain outside, the 29-year-old entertainer received a clamor of support from all the pub’s patrons for his tender cover of ‘I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For’, the climax of his brief daytime appearance as part of the pop Up FEQ series.
As the day before with “The Plains of Abraham” as the opening act for Zach Bryan, the Albertan enchanted the audience with her melancholic melodies and her radiant smile. She thanked the festival audience for this first great contact, which clearly exceeded her expectations. “Yesterday [dimanche], it was crazy. “It’s the biggest audience of my life,” she confirmed between songs.
