Quebec basketball player Olivier Rioux, who stands 7 feet tall. 7 inches, will continue his career in the University of Florida Gators program.
“I am proud to announce that I have committed to the Florida Gators for the 2024 season,” Rioux himself posted on his Instagram account late Wednesday evening. I would like to thank all of my coaches at IMG Academy and Brookwood Elite for helping me through this process.”

Rioux, who is only 17 years old, has been on everyone’s lips for several years and also holds the Guinness record for the tallest teenager in the world.
The athlete dreamed of reaching the NBA and was already in Florida to continue his development at the IMG Academy in Bradenton. He also attended the prestigious Brookwood Elite basketball program in Montreal during the summer.
“The Florida adventure continues!” Rioux added in his social media post.
