Organizations in the fields of dance, song, music, circus arts, drama, cinema, audiovisual, literary creation, musical creation, humor and arts and crafts can benefit from a maximum grant of US$25,000 for projects with this reintroduction intent.

“Arts education is essential to introduce our young people to culture. Today’s announcement demonstrates that our Government recognizes the pre-eminence of arts education organizations and that the development of artistic potential depends on the provision of education and programs that enable its emergence and development,” said Culture and Communications Minister Nathalie Roy in a press release.

In early April, the minister announced the first phase of a plan to stabilize Quebec’s cultural milieu by offering a safety net to organizations weakened by the pandemic. The investment announced on Saturday comes in addition to a number of financial support measures introduced during this initial announcement.
