Quebecor Fund: Five series receive financial support

The second season of The emperor as well as new series The Raven Affair, empathy, weapons And Splendor and influence receives financial support from the Quebecor Fund.

The company will make a total contribution of more than $1.5 million as part of the 47th funding round of its Television Production Assistance Program. Of this amount, $200,000 was awarded to producer CarpeDiem Film & TV for the intellectual property creation support component.

In collaboration with the Canada Media Fund (CMF), the Quebecor Fund will invest an amount of $1,340,489 to support the production of intellectual property for international markets. The FMC will pay an amount of $373,333, for a total investment of $1,713,822.

Five fictional series projects and the documentary series project Nature symphonique (PVP MEDIA) were selected as beneficiaries.

Season 2 of The Emperor (SOVIMAGE), Empathy (Trio Orange), The Corbeau Affair (Encore Télévision), Arms (Aetios Productions) and Splendor and Influence (Zone3) share the investment of the Quebecor Fund for the component support of the production of intellectual property , which is intended for international markets.

Since its inception in 1999, the Quebecor Fund, across all components of its television production support program, has supported a total of 377 projects involving 97 producers, 49 Canadian broadcasters and 59 foreign broadcasters, with contributions totaling nearly $103 million.
