Queen Consort Camilla, wife of King Charles III, has tested positive for COVID-19 and canceled all public engagements this week, Buckingham Palace announced on Monday.

This is the second time Camilla, 75, has been infected with the virus. She had been just after her husband a year ago.
“After suffering from symptoms of a cold, Her Majesty The Queen Consort has tested positive for the COVID virus,” the palace said in a brief statement.
“It is with regret that she has therefore canceled all of her public engagements this week and sincerely apologizes to those who were scheduled to attend,” the text adds.
Long unloved by Brits, who viewed her as a domestic robber, Prince Charles’ ex-lover eventually married him in 2005.
At the request of the late Queen Elizabeth II, Camilla became the Queen’s consort when Charles became king on the death of her mother on 8 September.
