For Queen Elizabeth’s final farewell, William and Harry could appear side by side in some kind of temporary peace. There is talk of the possibility at the palace and according to The Sun such a gesture would certainly improve the image of the royal family and relations between the dukes. Ahead of the official ceremony at Westminster Abbey, the two brothers may be physically close and united in grief at the loss of their beloved grandmother.
Finally, everyone remembers a sour moment for the royal family when Charles’ children kept a safe distance at Prince Philip’s funeral and were always parted in their aisle during the procession by Peter Phillipis, son of Princess Anna.
However, a first sign of peace between the dukes, sons of King Charles, was noticed during the recent walk in Windsor when William and Harry made a surprise appearance with their wives to greet the crowd who had come to pay homage to the queen Elizabeth. It was a very long time before the two couples showed up together, and they catalyzed the looks and flashes to the point of even overshadowing the king.
Meanwhile in the UK, Queen Elizabeth’s funeral is scheduled for Monday 19th, when all the royals of Europe will arrive. In addition to the new British Prime Minister Liz Truss, the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the Crowned Heads of Spain, Norway, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands will be present. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Japanese Emperor Naruhito will be present and will announce the attendance of American President Joe Biden.
