Queen Máxima and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands are accompanied by their daughter Princess Catharina-Amalia, 19, as they visit the Dutch Caribbean islands
Queen Máxima and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands were accompanied by their eldest daughter Princess Catharina-Amalia when they visited the Dutch Caribbean islands.
On the second day of their two-week visit to the different countries and communities of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the couple toured Bonaire together with the 19-year-old princess.
Catharina-Amalia cut an elegant figure in a blue and white floral dress paired with cream pumps and a dainty handbag. She left her hair loose and opted for a smattering of glamorous makeup.
Her mum looked equally stylish in a colorful pink dress, which cinched at the waist with a fashionable belt and featured elegant button detailing at the front.

Known for her color coordination, she opted for a coffee-colored headband to pull back her tresses, along with a matching handbag and a pair of heels.
King Willem-Alexander made sure he appeared as dapper as his family, wearing royal blue trousers and a crisp white shirt.
Although the Netherlands is the largest and wealthiest part, the Kingdom of the Netherlands actually consists of four constituent countries, all of which have equal status.
In addition to the Netherlands itself, members are Aruba, Curaçao and St. Maarten, each of which has King Willem-Alexander as head of state and its own parliament.

Three other Caribbean islands, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, are administered as municipalities of the Netherlands and as such residents are Dutch citizens with the same rights and responsibilities.
Until 2010, all of the Caribbean islands except Aruba were part of the Netherlands Antilles – an entity that was dissolved and whose residents had a choice of independence or integration.
The arrangement is similar to that between the Commonwealth Realms, all of which have the British monarch as head of state but have separate directly elected parliaments.
Earlier this month, Queen Maxima looked effortlessly chic in a camel cape as she received guests at the Royal Palace.

The Queen of the Netherlands, 51, paired her elegant gold blouse with a stunning diamond bracelet and matching earrings as she joined her husband King Willem-Alexander at the palace in Amsterdam.
Underneath her coat, she donned a structured midi skirt in a variety of colorful patterns and paired it all with olive-colored suede heels.
The mother-of-three kept her blonde locks loose, in a side parting and tucked behind her ears, and her makeup was naturally tanned with a smoky eye and nude lips.
King Willem, 55, wore a navy blue single-breasted suit with a blue and white patterned tie as he joined his wife in welcoming several hundred guests from politics and public administration and from various sectors of Dutch society.
This was a quick turnaround as the couple attended the funeral of former King Constantine II of Greece in Athens the day before.
