The first gala dinner of the Fundo Luz Alliance, an organization that emerged from a partnership between Gisele Bundchen and the BrasilFoundation, is already set. The event will take place on May 20th at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Miami. If you want to join, you have to pay a tidy sum to secure a seat at one of the tables.

A center table in front of the stage that seats ten guests costs $35,000. A table at the sides of the hall, also for ten people, has a “cheaper” price: $15,000. The single ticket in a good place sells for around US$3,500 which is R$18,000.
Items being auctioned in support of the fund include a photograph by Sebastião Salgado, a work by artist Vik Muniz and an exclusive experience at the Salvador Carnival. As for the carnival, the experience includes five nights of partying, accommodation at the Fera Hotel and a box at the Barra Ondina circuit with Ivete Sangalo.
“No one does anything alone”
The ceremony will feature an opening act by Gisele Bundchen and dancer Ingrid Silva alongside performances by Ivete Sangalo and DJ Marina Diniz. The purpose of Luz Alliance founded Miami Gala is to expand the fund’s mission, which is to fund organizations focused on socioecological initiatives that benefit people and nature.
In summary, the group supports projects in the six Brazilian biomes and in the marine biome. Since its inception in 2020, BRL 8 million has already been invested in environmental initiatives humanitarian aid.
According to Gisele, bringing people together for a cause makes all the difference.
