He was 57.
With a constant smile on his face, Rabbi Benjamin was a highly dedicated Mechanech of Oholei Torah Pre1A for twenty-five years, training hundreds of talmidim during these formative years, instilling in them a love of Yiddish, and laying a strong foundation. With unparalleled dedication, Rabbi Benjamin taught the Aleph Beis to his many talmidim with complete Kedusha and purity, infusing the lessons with Yiras Shomayim and Hasidishkeit, ensuring that each student had the tools they needed to excel in the chinuch years that followed to be succesfull.
In recent years, Rabbi Benjamin has been able to take up his job at Oholei Torah at any time, despite his medical treatments.
Rabbi Benjamin valued each and every talmid and maintained relationships with many of them for years afterward. Talmidim fondly remembers his lively and engaging teaching and the deep care he showed each and every one of his students.
With Rabbi Benjiman’s encouragement and full support, he steadfastly stood by his wife Devorahs Page as she heads Keren Simchas Chosson V’Kalla, an organization that provides the necessary resources and support to Chassanim and Kallahs.
