Rachel Sheherazade, 50, revealed that half of all the wealth she had accumulated throughout her life went to her exhusband Rodrigo Porto following their divorce in 2016.
The presenter addressed the topic in an interview with Domingo Espetacular. When asked about the R$200,000 salary she earned at SBT and the fact that, despite the large amount, she did not have her own house, the former employee explained that this was not the exact amount that went into her bank account would, and that her house was left by her exhusband when the marriage ended.
“The salary disclosed didn’t really correspond to what was in my account. “I got divorced, I was married in community property and half of what I was able to save went to my exhusband, including the house I had,” she explained.
Sheherazade emphasized that the money she saved was used to care for her children, her mother Hosana and her brother George, who suffers from multiple sclerosis. The journalist also admitted that she joined “A Fazenda 15” (Record) for financial reasons, as she was unemployed at the time of the invitation.
Rachel Sheherazade and Rodrigo Porto officially divorced in 2016 after 12 years of marriage. Together they are the parents of Clara and Gabriel.
