HAVANA, March 27 (RHC) The Cuban Ministry of Health reported 822 new positive cases of Covid-19 this Sunday, out of a total of 13,078 samples taken for surveillance that day, there were 730 medical discharges and no patient died.

5.7% (48) of the 822 positive cases were asymptomatic, bringing the total to 145,921, representing 13.4% of the cases confirmed to date.

The 822 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: under 20 years (262), 20 to 39 years (186), 40 to 59 years (194), 60 and older (180).

Of the millions 087,183 patients diagnosed with the disease, 3,872 remain hospitalized, of whom 3,839 have stable clinical development. 33 confirmed patients are being treated in intensive care, of whom 6 are critically ill and 27 are seriously ill.
