Laval Police released images on Wednesday of the suspect vehicle that may have been used in the attempted robbery of Garda officers in the Sainte-Dorothée district two weeks ago.
On the night of June 19/20, just after midnight, two cash porters went to the Caisse populaire Desjardins on the corner of Boulevard Samson and Highway 13 to deposit money at the ATM.
According to reports, the two Garda company agents were surprised by a gunman who rushed in and tried to rob them.
Several shots were then fired from both sides, but no one was injured in the shootout.

The suspect then fled on foot, crossed Samson Boulevard and headed towards Cléophas Charbonneau Street. According to the police, the person then took Chemin du Bord-de-l’Eau.
However, the extensive police operation that was launched after this robbery did not allow him to be apprehended.
By analyzing surveillance camera footage in the area, investigators were able to see a white utility vehicle in the same area at the time of the crime.
Police want to locate this vehicle and speak to those who were on board as they may have information relevant to the investigation.
Anyone with information regarding this vehicle or the offense is asked to contact the Laval Police Department information hotline at 450 662-INFO (4636).
