Singer Ramón Ayala, better known as “El Rey del Acordeón,” fell onstage during his presentation at Border Fest 2022 in Hidalgo, Texas.
The fall happened when the song “Let the devil take me” ended.

After the accident, his colleagues and even local security personnel came to his aid.
Although it was initially said the singer had passed out, he clarified what happened.
Ramón Ayala explained that he has to sit while performing his music and that on this occasion it could not be that he lost his balance.
“El Rey del Acordeón” took the opportunity to inform the participants of the event that this year the traditional Christmas posada would take place.
“If God wills and helps us, we will do the (Christmas) posada this year,” he said, drawing applause from the audience.
The singer thanked the public of Texas Valley, Reynosa, Tamaulipas and the city of Hidalgo on his official Facebook account for the support he received during Border Fest 2022.
