Ramzan Kadyrov quotproudquot about his 15 year old son beating

Ramzan Kadyrov "proud" about his 15 year old son beating a prisoner accused of burning the Quran

The head of Chechnya, a republic of the Russian Federation, Ramzan Kadyrov praised his 15-year-old son for beating a 19-year-old prisoner who was jailed for burning a Koran outside a mosque in Volgograd.

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov on Monday confirmed rumors that his son Adam beat a prisoner accused of burning the Koran.

Ramzan Kadyrov, who rules Chechnya – a member republic of the Russian Federation – is accused by human rights activists of ordering kidnappings and extrajudicial killings.

“He beat him and did what he had to do,” he said on Telegram.

“I am proud of Adam’s actions (…) he implemented ideals of honor and dignity to defend his religion,” he said.

Demand “tough” punishments

The Chechen leader released a video showing his khaki-clad son beating another man.

“I think that anyone who violates the Holy Scriptures, including those who burn them and insult tens of millions of citizens of our great country, should be severely punished,” Ramzan Kadyrov said.

He called it “a diseased tumor on the body that needs to be cauterized.”

Ramzan Kadyrov publicly revealed his son’s involvement in the Ukraine conflict after announcing in March 2022 that he had sent three of his sons – Akhmat (16), Eli (15) and Adam (14) – to the forehead.
