Rangers grab first game

After a nine-year drought, the playoff return to Camden Yards didn’t go as planned for the Baltimore Orioles, as they were defeated by the Texas Rangers 3-2 on Saturday and are currently trailing 1-0 in the series.

Third baseman Josh Jung’s home run hit in the sixth inning ultimately allowed the Rangers to win, despite the reaction of Anthony Santander, who extended his arms some time later. Check out the highlights above.

Orioles starter Kyle Bradish (0-1) had a lackluster game, allowing seven hits but striking out nine hitters. His opponent at Rangers, Dane Dunning (1-0), only allowed one point.

The two teams will meet for the second game this Sunday. Baltimore will have no room for error. In fact, the Maryland club faces elimination in the event of a defeat.
